Assess every required Knowledge Unit through observable student work, seal faculty-reviewed outcomes, and export the evidence behind each learner's result.
One evidence system, two different academic claims
SecureAI evaluates how learners protect AI systems. AICyber evaluates how learners use and supervise AI in cyber defense. The counts below describe available direct assessments; a student earns KU evidence only after every outcome and transfer performance passes.

Executable coverage
One task is not allowed to stand in for a Knowledge Unit.
Each of the 20 official KUs has its own server runtime, all official outcomes, signed primary and unfamiliar-transfer artifacts, and outcome-level adjudication. A resubmission invalidates prior ratings; judgment-heavy KUs require two calibrated reviewers.
Three labs, each ready to place in a different course
The application still needs the institution's official syllabi. These modules supply the lab prompt, mapped outcomes, assessment indicators, and hash-sealed, faculty-reviewable work products.

Evidence exports
Give reviewers the crosswalk and the underlying student record
The institutional crosswalk is public curriculum documentation. Student packages require sign-in and are limited to the candidate or authorized faculty.
Institution crosswalk
Versioned KU catalog, pathway requirements, CyberSim mappings, evidence levels, lab guidelines, and declared gaps.
Available to the candidate and authorized faculty. Unmet constructs are omitted rather than reported as covered.
Submission boundary
What CyberSim supplies, and what the institution still owns
A credible application makes this boundary obvious. CyberSim can produce lab and assessment evidence; it cannot manufacture institutional approval, faculty qualifications, or a continuous-improvement history.
Eligibility
The applicant is a U.S. degree-granting, regionally accredited institution. Current CAE-CD and CAE-CO institutions receive specified application exemptions under the 2026 requirements.
Institution action required
Official curriculum
The institution supplies its approved Program of Study, required course sequence, catalog evidence, and three aligned work roles.
Institution action required
Current syllabi
Every KU-aligned course needs a concise syllabus taught within the last three years, with faculty, term, outcomes, schedule, and grading information.
Institution action required
Hands-on labs
At least three distinct KU-aligned courses identify required applied labs and provide one set of lab guidelines per course.
CyberSim contributes evidence
Outcome assessment
Program-level outcomes need curriculum maps, indicators, performance expectations, student results, qualitative findings, and an improvement plan.
CyberSim contributes evidence
KU alignment
Course outcomes are aligned to the required KUs without overloading one course or relying on optional courses that not every student completes.
Institution action required
Student work
The institution supplies de-identified student work products tied to courses and KUs. CyberSim exports are supporting work products, not a substitute for the full set.
CyberSim contributes evidence
Faculty and improvement
Faculty qualifications, section equivalency, mentoring, professional development, governance, and continuous-improvement evidence remain institutional responsibilities.
